He is currently employed to the University of the West Indies, Open Campus as a Learning Support Specialist; however, he has been seconded to the post of Functional Team Lead for the Ellucian Banner Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project for one and a half (1½) years. In a previous post at the University as Information Technologist, he was tasked with the responsibility of redesigning and implementing the Open Campus’ network infrastructure; which spans over forty (40) sites across the Caribbean region to include the Cayman Islands and Belize. This project was such a success that the University’s Chief Information Officer adopted the project to include the other three Campuses (Cave Hill, St. August and Mona); in which he was the Lead Consultant on the Interconnectivity Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Project.
In any area of his skills being tested Sheldon is very proficient in problem solving and troubleshooting, and can effectively plan and organize his tasks and time leading to satisfying client needs; which to him is top priority. His accomplishments truly reflect this as he received a commendation from Sir John Daniel, O.C.
