Meet the instructor
Dr. Jason Ampel [Dr. A]
Jason Ampel is the Founder of The Learning Liaisons and started offering online and in-person test prep options for the teachers and college students back in 2015. In 2019 he launched his new Praxis catalogue of test prep options and on February 1st, 2021, was acquired by Texas Teachers to bring his test prep platform to teachers in Texas and across the nation.
Dr. Ampel has been a middle school and high school teacher for ten years with Orange County Public Schools and Lake County Public Schools in Central Florida.
In addition, Dr. A was a Professor of Education in the College of Education at the University of Central Florida for ten years in Orlando, Florida. He taught undergraduate, masters and doctoral level courses in a variety of content areas: Classroom Management, Learning Theory & Assessment, School Law, Ethics & Safety, Social Studies for Elementary Education to name a few.
As a classroom teacher, Jason served on many committees both school-based and district-wide. Dr. A also had the privilege of leading four senior interns in his classroom and led district-wide training sessions for interns through the University of Central Florida on topics such as: Classroom Management, Social Media Usage & Teacher Ethics.
He has published several research articles in a variety of scholarly journals and has had the opportunity to be publish in the Orlando Sentinel as well.
Dr. A is always working daily to improve his knowledge in the field, as well as dedicating seven days a week to help teachers nation-wide get through their teacher certification journey.
