Meet the instructor

Dr. Jason Ampel (aka Dr. A)

Jason Ampel is the Founder/CEO of The Learning Liaisons and started offering online and in-person prep options for the FTCE's back in 2015.  In 2019 he launched his new Praxis catalogue of test prep options.

Dr. A has been a middle school and high school teacher for ten years with Orange County Public Schools and Lake County Public Schools in Central Florida.

In addition, Dr. A was a Professor of Education in the College of Education at the University of Central Florida for ten years in Orlando, Florida.  He taught undergraduate, masters and doctoral level courses in a variety of content areas: Classroom Management, Learning Theory & Assessment, School Law, Ethics & Safety, Social Studies for Elementary Education to name a few.

As a classroom teacher, Jason served on many committees both school-based and district-wide.  Dr. A also had the privilege of leading four senior interns in his classroom and led district-wide training sessions for interns through the University of Central Florida on topics such as: Classroom Management, Social Media Usage & Teacher Ethics.

He has published several research articles in a variety of scholarly journals and has had the opportunity to be publish in the Orlando Sentinel as well.  

Dr. A is always working daily to improve his knowledge in the field, as well as dedicating seven days a week to help teachers nation-wide get through their teacher certification journey.
