Ms. Amanda Wubbena
ELAR Specialist
Amanda is an eighteen year veteran educator. She has taught grades K-5 and has been a leader in multiple schools where she supported new teachers, new instructional coaches, and veteran teachers.
She has developed and facilitated professional development to increase instructional practices and build teacher capacity.
Ms. Wubbena spent five years working in a turn-around school as the Reading Specialist. During this time, she supported the school to increase language arts acquisition. As a result, the school grade increased from a triple D to a B.
Amanda currently is on the school support team at an elementary school where she works with ESOL students and coordinates state testing.
