Rhea Carmon is a seasoned mathematics educator with extensive experience teaching a wide range of courses, from 6th-grade math to Calculus. She holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Education and currently serves as a facilitator for a university program that equips educators in Tennessee with additional licensure to teach secondary mathematics.

With a passion for fostering strong pedagogical practices, Rhea is dedicated to mentoring teachers and advancing equitable math instruction. Rhea is also a first-year Ph.D. candidate specializing in Integrated Studies, combining her expertise in Children and Young Adult Literature with her love for Mathematics and STEM.

Her research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to education, exploring how literature can inspire deeper engagement with STEM concepts and foster meaningful connections between storytelling and mathematical thinking.
